Benjamin A. Cheek enlisted in 1861 as an Assistant Surgeon, resigned in September 1862 due to ill health, re-enlisting in June 1863, and was promoted to Surgeon in 1864. Lot Amendments Condition: The mat with some edge chipping and wear; the image is clear and unblemished, very good or better. Item number: 284858
