Publisher: Date: 1879 Description: Lithographed map. 78.5x48.5 cm (31x19¼"). The map (actually two maps printed as one) extends south to north from all of Lake Tahoe to north of Honey Lake. With a single horizontal centerfold. Warren Heckrotte comments that "The paper is thinner than that used in the folio Atlas sheets, but not thin as with the maps from Wheeler's Annual Reports. The map was issued in Wheeler's octavo size atlas of six maps, dated 1879, but of course folded. In my example it has not been folded and I presume issued as a separate."
