George Marsh Hollow Column Clock, Connecticut, c. 1832, mahogany veneered case with carved eagle splat, round hollow Doric columns flanking the round, painted wood, Arabic numeral dial, reverse-painted lower door glass, label inside marked in part: Patent Brass Eight-Day Clocks Manufactured for George Marsh & Co., all on carved paw feet, eight-day Ives strap brass movement powered by two lead weights which descend through the columns and regulated by a pendulum, ht. 38 in.
