I, 111th Regiment N.Y. Infantry in 1863, listed as wounded at Gettysburg and POW at Mine Run, confined at Macon, Ga., and Columbia, S.C., promoted Major Feb. 3, 1865, and Lt. Col. Feb. 25, 1865. The 111th N.Y. infantry listed among the 300 fighting regiments with engagements at Harper's Ferry, Gettysburg, second day, losing 58 KIA, 117 wounded and 14 missing. Other battles include Wilderness, Spottsylvania, Bristoe Station, Mine Run, Morton's Ford and through the final Appomatox campaign. Condition: Gold not tested. VG+.
