Publisher´s gilt decorated boards, somewhat worn, brown and brownspotted, gilt-lettered art vellum spine. Printed in 250 numbered, by Goodwin signed copies, this is number 212. First edition of Goodwin´s book on Anders De Wahl, one of the leading Swedish actors during the first half of the twentieth century. Contributions by i.a. Prins Wilhelm, Georg Brandes Anna Branting, August Brunius, Carl G. Laurin, and Ida & Henry Goodwin. Henry Buergel Goodwin (1876-1931), Germanborn important Swedish artistic portrait photographer. He was a pupil of Nicola Perscheid in Leipzig. In 1914 he founded his portrait studio, "Kamerabilder. The Pictorial Portrait Studio", at Strandvägen 7b in Stockholm.
