A mint, used & nhm collection of GB & GB Islands in a large album that starts with an 1840 1d black, 1841 1d & 2d shades, later line-engraved with penny plate ranges, ½d "Bantam" range - different plates, 2d blue plate range etc, 1847-54 embossed 10d brown with just three margins & light "498" Manchester barred cancel, plus 1s green with London district cancel, 1855-57 4d, 6d & 1s x3, 1865-80 range to various plate 1s & a 2s, 1867 5s rose plate 1, 1883-84 lilac & greens set of all values, 1883-84 2s6d & 5s, 1887 Jubilee set to both 1s, KEVII ranges to 2s6d x3 & 5s x2 shaded range dotted with mint values, perf 15 x14 Harrison printed set used, KGV Cypher Wmk to 5s, useful Postage Due & later ranges to re-engraved "Seahorse" 5s, KGVI mixed mint & used only missing £1 RSW, QEII strong Wilding ranges with many Wmk variants, highly complete pre decimal commemoratives, 1970-90 mostly nhm & over 125 complete sets (Face value £150+), plus Machin & Regional ranges mixed mint & used, GB Islands include a sparse selection of Jersey, Guernsey & Isle of Man with denominations seen to £5.
