An oinochoe with trefoil mouth, enlivened with crimson, ochre and white slip; decorated with a lady of fashion, wearing elaborate headgear with curls falling over her ears, a fan in her left hand and situla in her right; a large palmette to the other side; to the shoulder a band of running scrolls and white bars to the neck. Ceramic, 540 grams, 29 cm. Very fine condition. Provenance Suvanna collection, Sussex, UK; acquired in the 1970's.
