[Latimore & Haskell p.34] Rackham originally illustrated Grimms' Fairy Tales in 1900 with a coloured frontispiece and 99 black and white drawings. He continued to rework the original drawings and added new ones over the next 9 years before publishing this best-known edition [Hudson Rackham p.46].
