lot of 5, a colorful lithographed trade card from Union Clothing Manufacturing Co., Canton, Ohio, depicting a 19th Century baseball game and crossed bats design (2.75" x 4.5"); a 19th Century diecut of an unidentified Baltimore fielder (these diecuts are sometimes referred to as "scrapps") 3" high; and (3) BF2 pennants (issued 1916), Joe Wood, J. Franklin Baker and Buck Weaver. "Home Run" Baker (HOF 1955) was the home run king of the "dead ball" era prior to Babe Ruth. Weaver was a part of the 1919 World Series "Black Sox" team; one of the infamous "eight men out" forever banned from the game. Provenance: Ex John Armiger Collection Condition: 1st & 2nd- minor toning, EX; all BF2 are VG-EX.
