Various size ovals 2x1" to 3½x2¾". Includes portraits of a distinguished bearded gentleman and a well-coifed young woman, each in cases with a veneer constructed of small pieces of ivory. One other portrait of a woman and two allegorical scenes in decorative metal frames. The two ivory cased portraits and one of scenes are signed by the artists though we are unable to identify the signatures. Lot Amendments Condition: Several of the ivory pices are detached or nearly so, one small piece cracked; overall very good or better. Item number: 261753
