The Grumman X-29A was an experimental aircraft with a distinctive forward-swept wing, canard control surfaces and other novel aircraft technologies. Two were built and flown by NASA and the U.S. Air Force from 1984 through 1991. The present model was made by the Grumman Aircraft model shop.
