.41 caliber, 38" octagonal barrel, NSN. Blued barrel with brass trigger guard, sideplate, patch box, and butt plate. German silver wedge escutcheons. Blade front sight with v-notch block rear sight and set trigger. Lockplate marked "G. GOULCHER". Condition: Fair. Barrel has an even dark gunmetal coloration with some light pitting throughout, especially near cone. Stock has most of its finish remaining with a 4" and 2" crack rear of and forward of sideplate, respectively. Brass mountings have a dull luster. Bore is fair but dark with worn rifling and some pitting. May improve with cleaning.
