Half-title and 1p. subscribers' list in vol.I, titles in red and black. 28 plates, 10 hand-colored, vol.II with 11 card leaves with sunken mounts with 90 (of 100) specimen flies tipped-in (lacking specimens 47-56), illustrations in the text. (Some occasional pale browning to sheet edges, plates browned, some slight spotting.) Modern blue morocco gilt; cloth slipcase. Provenance : R.B. Marston (original subscriber). LIMITED EDITION, number 10 of 100 copies of the "Edition de Luxe" copies signed by the author. "Halford's place in the history of fishing is well marked.
