A lovely reverse painted desk lamp by Handel. The cylindrical shade has a green background with trees and pink clouds. The shade is in excellent condition, free of cracks, chips, or significant paint loss. Shade is signed "Handel 1736". The patinated metal base is finished in a brown patina with verdigris highlights. The adjustable mechanism functions properly. The single socket with acorn pull appears to be original. The base is in excellent condition with just one 1/2” area of patina loss on the neck. Base has green felt on the underside with original Handel tag. Dimensions: 14” x 11” x 11”. Condition: (Excellent). Item Dimensions: 14" x 10" x 10 - 1/2".
