Near-contemporary green half morocco, spines gilt, t.e.g. (extremities rubbed). FIRST EDITION. It is not unusual for sets of the first edition to be found incomplete as the publication of the sixth volume was not completed until about 1830. Henry Bohn published a reprint of the whole work, with all 600 plates, in 1845. Cf. Nissen BBI 33. Sold as a collection of plates, not subject to return. (2)
