8 vol. only (of 9, lacking vol. 9), half-titles, titles in red and black (except Catalogo) with engraved vignettes, 3 engraved portraits (only, of 8), double-page map and 512 plates (of 612), a few double-page or folding, numerous engraved head-pieces, vignettes and initials, plate VI in vol.2 misbound, some damp-staining, mostly marginal, mostly to vol.5 and 6, some foxing and light browning but tissue guards largely protecting plates, a few half-titles and leaves at beginning of each vol. creased, ex Library of Congress duplicate with a few stamps, contemporary mottled calf, gilt, joints cracked, some wear to extremities but still a handsome set, folio, Naples, 1757-79 and Catalogo 1755.
