Text in English and French, dedication to Warren Hastings, 2 engraved plates by Morris and Browns after Hodges (some mainly marginal spotting and browning throughout, more pronounced to first dedication leaf, some light creasing to second plate). 19th-century half brown morocco, spine gilt (rubbed and scuffed). Provenance : crowned armorial bookplate with motto 'Honi Soit qui Mal Y Pense.'
