Engraved title incorporating a map of Britain and a view of London by C. van de Passe, 5 engraved plates and 62 full-page text engravings, mostly portraits, by Willem and Magdalena van de Passe woodcut head- and tailpieces and initials. (Engraved title cut around and mounted, last leaf mounted and browned, neat marginal tear.) 18th-century mottled calf, narrow gilt border on sides, red sprinkled edges (surface and extremities somewhat worn).
