The large metal-cuts are from Kerver’s “small set,” most of which he copied from the second set by Pigouchet that was so widely imitated by his Parisian contemporaries. Only one copy recorded in ISTC, at the Musée Dobrée in Nantes, France; Moreau cites a single copy in the Repertoire...Morgand. Modern cherry red velvet; modern quarter morocco chemise and slipcase – acquired from Librairie Lardanchet, Paris, 31 July 1979.
