The New Family Receipt-Book: Or Universal Repository of Domestic Economy, Including a Fund of Useful Knowledge and Experience in all the Various Branches of Cookery..., 1st edition, 1817, engraved frontispiece (toned and somewhat edge-frayed), text in double column, some spotting and dampstaining, mainly to first and last few leaves, final few leaves with some worm damage at foot of gutter, page 5 has old repair at fore-edge, modern quarter calf gilt, 4to together with [Copley, Esther], The Cook's Complete Guide, on the Principles of Frugality, Comfort, and Elegance including the Art of Carving, and the Most Approved Method of Setting-Out a Table...by a Lady, 1st edition, circa 1827, additional engraved title (with fragment of adhered paper at head of gutter), frontispiece and ten engraved plates, Bill of Fare plate for September loosely inserted from another (slightly smaller) copy, occasional spotting and minor marks, front hinge cracked after endpapers, contemporary brown half morocco, rubbed with some wear to extremities, 8vo, plus Macdonald (Duncan), The New London Family Cook: or, Town and Country Housekeeper's Guide..., 3rd edition, [1812], portrait frontispiece and ten engraved plates, variable spotting and toning, modern blue quarter morocco gilt, 8vo, and five others similar (Qty: 8) First two items: Cagle 766, & 632 respectively.
