International cricket teams in England 1953-1966. Two large black photograph albums including a good selection of over one hundred and sixty cricket related candid photographs. The personal albums appear to have compiled by an unidentified club cricketer as captions to many photographs are initials. Many photographs depict international Test cricketers on tours to England. Players featured include Hill, Craig, Benaud (Australia 1953), Kadar (Pakistan 1954), McCarthy, Maclean, Heine (South Africa 1955), Miller, Craig, Johnson, Davidson, Burge, (Australia 1956), Petrie, Cave, Reid, Sutcliffe (New Zealand 1958), Sobers, Kanhai, Carew, Gibbs, Murray (West Indies 1963), Simpson, Burge, Veivers, O'Neill (Australia 1964), Kanhai, Nurse, Hall (West Indies 1966). England players featured include Cowdrey, Graveney. Bailey, Oakham, Trueman, Bedser, Barrington, Boycott, Milburn, Parks, Jones etc. The majority of photographs have been taken at matches played and Old Trafford and Northampton.
