Title in red and black surrounded by a border of scrolling acanthus and intertwined figures, 2 astrological woodcuts at the end of the calendar, a woodcut of David playing the harp at the opening of the psalms, printer’s device of a leopard to Z4v. Gothic type, chapter headings and initials in red. Contemporary blind-stamped calf with repeating central portrait panels neatly rebacked to style with modern morocco booklabel to spine, early vellum ms. used as internal backstrip, two brass clasps with catches.
