Cincinnati: U.P. James, 1869. 8v0, yellow printed wraps, 126pp. 23 Mississippi River and 20 Ohio River maps. Front wrap separated but present. Overall heavily worn and scuffed, toned. Last page present, but separated and with significant loss at top right corner and along top edge. Partially printed appointment of John McShanghey as overseer of the road to Russelville "between Dr. Van Eaton's place and the Franklin County line." Lawrence County, Alabama. Feb. 1857. 6 x 7.5 in. Check drawn on the Ross County Bank at Chillicothe [Ohio] with graphics of steam and sailing vessels. May 5, 1853. Plus receipt for taxes on estate in SC. United States Mail Coach Way Bill from Keene to Groton and Boston, June 3, 1843. 16 entries. Graphics of stage coaches in upper corners. 9 x 14 in. 3.5 x 7.5 in. Light card stock with "Railroad Boy's Appeal" and 7 stanzas, circulated by an orphan for fund-raising (asking 10 cents). With graphic of locomotive at top.
