Beschreibung:

8x22mm. 4.5" barrel length. SN: 21802. Blued metal finish with straw small parts, polished bolt, and two-piece wood grips with horizontal serrations. Striker-action short-recoil operated autoloading pistol fed by detachable 8-shot magazine. Item shows Chuo Kogyo manufacture markings to right upper frame and model marks to left. Lack of series marker indicates item is from the first series. Lower frame shows 11.3 date mark indicating it was manufactured in March, 1936. Balance of parts show matching serial number but firing pin and firing pin guide are unmarked. Comes with 2xmagazines; neither matches pistol. Comes in two compartment leather flap holster with no visible manufacturer markings. Holster contains disassembly tool/cleaning rod. Condition: Very Good as Refinished. Bore is bright with some signs of patina forming near muzzle. Production markings are sharp, but light pitting visible at upper frame filled in with bluing indicates refinish at some point. Grips show a brown patina with thinning blued finish to frame. Small parts retain traces of visible straw color. Grips have heavy handling wear with mars and scratches to both panels. Some wastage of wood at forward edge of right panel behind trigger. Holster shows abrasions at edges, some broken stitching and a split to upper edge of holster seam. Cracking to fastening straps and to seam connecting flap to holster. Both magazines show lubricant residue and scratches with various dings and mars to floorplates. Magazine in pistol has mottled gray patina. Tool in holster shows a dark brown patina overall with spots of oxidation.
