ALS, 2 pp, from Whitehall, 9 June 1807, 2 pp (single folded sheet with integral blank, traces of mounting rear), declining to engage workers by the day at 'the price of more than double the wage of Staffordshire', but offering to engage them if willing to 'work by task', and offering a 'liberal allowance for the first year, above English prices even - & home rent free & advance for Expence of Journey'.
