Being a General Description of the Country, Climate, Rivers, Lakes, Mountains, Etc., and a View of the Life Led by a Hunter in those Regions Author: Russell, Osborne Place: [Boise, ID] Publisher: [Syms-York] Date: 1921 Description: iii]-xviii, [5]-149 pp. 8½x5¾, dark red cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Second Edition. Second edition, with the addition of a 20-page appendix on the Indians and animals of the region. At the foot of the title-page is a small rubberstamp, "Copyrighted 1914 Appendix," above the printed 1921 date. Howes notes that the work covers "The fur trade in its most colorful period." Graff 3611; Howes R537; Smith 8778 - Lot Amendments Condition: Fine with just a touch of shelf wear, a few faint spots to front cover. Item number: 173242
