Sefer Kanfei Yona on Yoreh De'ah, by Rabbi Yona Landsofer. Prague, 1812. Only edition. Title page contains picture of lion with stamps of Rabbi "Yisrael Friedman" and Rabbi "Yitzchak Friedman". These stamps are similar to the stamp of their brother Shlomo Friedman [see Kedem catalogue, auction 16 item 104] and to the stamps of the famous library of their brother-in-law Rabbi "Nachum DovBer Friedman". The Rebbes - Rabbi Yitzchak (1850-1917) and Rabbi Yisrael (1852-1907), holy sons of the first Rebbe Rabbi Avraham Ya'akov of Sadigura. After the demise of their father in 1883, they both served in the leadership in the city of Sadgora. After three years Rabbi Yitzchak moved to the city of Boyan where he established his Beit Midrash. [3], 2-88, [1] leaves. 31.5 cm. Good condition. Various ownership notations and stamps, documents in foreign language on end paper. Renewed semi-leather binding.
