The document being a kind of letter of recommendation issued by Karajan as a result of Giombi´s performances during the Eastern Salzburg Festival, stating in full `Claudio Giombi has sung here at Salzburg, during the Eastern Festival, the role of "Benoit" in the opera "La Boheme". The artist has distinguished extraordinarily, both as singer and concertmaster, as well as being an excellent actor who knew how to contribute with his personal touch.
