Extremities just touched, tape residue from detached (but present) bookplate to endpapers, minor offsetting from plates, binders ink stamp to rear free endpaper. "A very important and rare work" (Bruns). With manuscript note laid in, "green cloth if possible for binding", and bookplate of George Page Ely. Binder's ink stamp reads "F. J. B. & Co.
