Jackie Kennedy in Venezuela, 1962. 440 x 620 mm. 3. JFK on the Campaign Trail, ?1960. 330 x 510 mm. Kreiner was a German photojournalist, who worked for UPI and other news agencies from the mid 1950s onwards. He photographed Marilyn several times, the first time in Chicago when she breezed into town with her new husband, Arthur Miller, for a Press call on her new movie Some like it Hot. Kreiner also visited her on the set of her last movie The Misfits. His unusual images, the angles and the use of light, give dramatic movement and capture the essence of the subject.
