A Malay Peninsula dagger, the 35.5cm wavy steel blade with Pamir decoration, the hilt with wirebound cup and carved wooden handle in the traditional style, 43cm overall, in its wooden scabbard together with a Celebes Islands Bade Bade, circa 1900, the 21cm blade with horn hilt inset with ivory "eyes", 27.5cm overall in its wooden and horn scabbard bound with silver rings. The Celebes Islands are now known as Sulawes, the main tribes are Bugis and Torajan. (2)
