L&E TENNIS ADVERTISEMENT SIGN enamel wood, inscribed Agents for Tennis Rackets, Worthy of Your Skill , bearing the silhouettes of a male and female tennis player, 7½ x 12½in. (19 x 31.5cm.); a "Victor, Strings that Win" metal box (rusted), containing strings and a metal badge inscribed Victor, Strings That Win , depicting male tennis player ; a metal tennis paper clip, modelled as a single racket, with ball on strings of racket, 5in. (12.5cm.); an advertising awl blade by Juneman's gut company; a set of tennis playing cards, manufactured by Standard Playing Card Co., Chicago, the reverse of each card depicting a female tennis player; a "double gold" medal, the obverse inscribed Long Island Interscholastic Athletic League , depicting a male figure holding wreath, the reverse inscribed Doubles, 1901, 1st Prize , depicting a tennis racket and ribbon inscribed Tennis Championship , in relief, with ring suspension; a medal, the obverse inscribed L.A. Co. Championship Ladies Singles, 1913 , depicting two crossed tennis rackets and ball, with ribbon; a medal, the obverse inscribed Tennis Chamipionship depicting two tennis rackets, the reverse inscribed Runner-Up, Russell Allen , with ribbon; a 'Play and Profit, Stringing Tennis Rackets' newsletter, Vol.1, No.1, 1936, with two Thompson Manufacturing Co. pink envelopes and two West Side Tennis Club passes; and a knife, the handle depicting a male tennis player.
