Two plates depicting the collector as a French officer, 180 heliograph reproductions of bindings. Contemporary brown morocco by René Kieffer, spine with 5 raised bands, doublure in citron morocco with the crowned coat of arms of the collector in the center and in the corners, top edge gilt on the rough, original wrappers bound in (spine faded); slipcase. Limited edition, one of the 25 large paper copies on Japan of an edition of 75. The catalogue, prefaced by the great collector Henri Béraldi, served for the sale held on 15-16 December 1902 (the results are printed on the last leaf). Collected between 1888 and 1902 it contains a representative selection of bindings by Amand, Chambolle-Duru, Marius-Michel- and others, arranged in alphabetical order of the binders and not by author.
