'The Crede of Pierce Plowman' [second edition], which is referred to in the title, is usually lacking as here 'probably due to contemporary proscription because of its Wycliffite doctrine' (Pforzheimer, p.823). Only 'about a half-dozen copies have survived' (ibid.). STC 19908; Pforzheimer 799 (without the Crede).
