(Some light foxing and soiling.) Original wrappers with wood-engraved vignette on front wrapper, a different one on part XII (lacks wrappers in part IV, others mostly a little torn and soiled), green cloth folder, in a red straight-grained morocco pull-off box. Provenance : C.F.G.R. Schwerdt (bookplate; his sale, 10 July 1939, lot 1657). SCHWERDT COPY OF THE FIRST EDITION and a rare copy in the original wrappers, complete with the 8pp. poem The Sportsman's Progress loosely inserted in part 1.
