Few pale foxmarks to preliminaries, few leaves with soft creases (not the lithographs); chemise and slipcase sunned and well-worn at edges. Limited edition, no 14 of 25 copies for sale from a total edition of 28, signed by the author and the artist on the colophon. "Source entière, a collection of love poems with only 28 copies printed, is obviously a private affair. It may well have had some sentimental meaning for Léger as well as for the poet, André Frénaud ... The title page of the book specifies five lithographs in color, whereas in fact there are only four in color. Léger's original ink and gouache illustrations for this work were sold in these rooms on May 11, 2010, Modern, Contemporary and Latin American Art. See illustration.
