A fine original black painted M4 with beautiful patina of professional use, with the very rare black paint 8-element Wetzlar Summicron 2/35mm no.2196464 (cond. B/A, clean lenses, UVa filter,12585 hood), first owners outfit from the famous Dutch photographer Chas Gerretsen (award winning war photographer, born 1943). For his work he used this M4, the M4-M and the Nikon F also offered in this auction. The camera comes with a photograph showing Chas Gerretsen with his cameras and a signed letter of confirmation from the photographer confirming that he used the camera and lens from 1970-1975 in Cambodia, Vietnam, Chile and many more countries.
