Leitz Wetzlar, 1960's, Chrome, Single stroke, not Leitz service seal, with instructions, cap and ever ready case. A very interesting camera with a non existing serial number. The pre owner Max Kurzhals sends his Leica IIId No.367013 to Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Company 20.08.1976 for service. And Mr Hans Klös at the factory told hem that they not repair cameras under number 400 000 any more. But I can trade it to a Leica M3 No.1204 and two M-bay rings instead. This was a big scandal at the time, Hans Klös changed unusual and expensive models and gave back cameras with strange serial number that could not be traced to the factory, as he took charge for the repair. A very exciting story where all correspondence is included.
