The letter has many topics, Torah and ethics [ending with the typical Navaredok sentence: "…This is the Navaredok point which needs to be thrown and stuck down the throat"]; the distribution of Navaredok books [mentioned at the beginning of the letter is the distribution of the booklets "El HaMevakesh" Part 6, written and printed by Rabbi Yitzchak Waldsein in 1939]; matters concerning the yeshivot and rabbis of Navaredok in Eretz Yisrael and abroad; the lottery for upholding the Navaredok Yeshiva and tefillin scrolls sent by the Chazon Ish for this fundraising campaign. Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan Waldsein (1894-1941), was a leading rabbi of the Navaredok Yeshiva mussar movement, known as the "Sharshover" because of his native city Sharshov, an outstanding disciple of the Saba of Navaredok and the son-in-law of his son-in-law Rabbi Alter Shmuelevitz (father of Rabbi Chaim Shmuelevitz), served as mashgiach of the "Beit Yosef" Yeshivot in Pinsk and Ostrovtse. Perished in the Holocaust with most of his family, his wife and one son survived and immigrated to Jerusalem. 2 pages, 35 cm. Fair condition, tears and creases to margins.
