Beschreibung:

This is a lot of two rare tin embossed signs. The first is an embossed Beeman's Gum sign with a depiction of Mr. Beeman and advertising "cures indigestion". A very early sign and seldom seen, with foxing throughout and areas of paint loss in the lower right and upper right corners, with overall signs of wear. Condition 7.0 to 7.5. The second sign is a tin embossed sign advertising Bartholomew peanut and corn roasters. A rare sign showing bright color, an early peanut roaster and marked for the Standard Advertising Co. Damage at the mounting holes, slight bending to the upper middle, but overall a nice example of a rare sign. Condition 8.5. Condition: (7.0 - 8.5). Item Dimensions: larger frame: 9" x 16".
