The following five caps have had names embossed on their leather sweatbands. The caps are original US Army field grade officer's dress visor caps with gold oak leaves embroidered on the visors, but we are of the opinion that the names have been added post period. Consists of: A) Interior marked by maker "Luxenberg", the name "Bernard W. Rogers" has been embossed on the sweatband. B) No maker mark, the name "Omar Bradley" has been embossed on the sweatband. C) Interior marked by maker "Bancroft ", the name "W.C. Westmoreland" has been embossed on the leather sweatband. D) Interior marked by maker "Kingform Cap", the name "Bernard W. Rogers" has been embossed on the sweatband. E) Interior marked by maker "Flight Ace", the name "2nd Lt. H. B Durham" has been embossed on the sweatband.
