Lot consists of: (A) Very Nice World War II US M-1938 Tanker Helmet made by A.G. Spalding & Bros. CONDITION: Helmet is deformed from storage but can be reshaped on an head mannequin. The helmet shows scratches and scuffs from service wear but still retains most of its original green paint. The liner is in very good condition with little cracking on the leather and the manufacturer's stamp is still crisp and clear. Other than the deformation, the helmet is in excellent condition. (B) Cold War T-56-6 tanker helmet with painted First Cavalry insignia painted on the back. CONDITION: The helmet is in overall good condition and its exterior still displays most of its original paint with some service wear. The helmet still retains all of its original liner and communication equipment. (C) World War I US Army helmet with liner. CONDITION: The helmet still retains some original paint but has various scratches and scuffs. Liner is near complete but some of the felt has fallen out over time. Leather chin strap is rough and cracking. Overall fair condition. (D) World War II US Navy leather flight helmet produced by Stole & Klein. CONDITION: Helmet is in excellent condition as the leather is still soft and pliable. Interior is in fantastic condition with great specification tag and very clean ear pieces. (E) Two US World War I tin children's helmets. CONDITION: helmets show paint loss, scrapes, scratches, and dents. Overall fair condition. JD
