Jh. — Dreiseitig verglastes Gehäuse mit rundbogenförmigem Abschluss und Putto mit Sanduhr als Bekrönung, reiche Bronzeapplikationen in Form von Blattwerk und einem ornamentalen Blattfächer, Boulle-Einlagen aus graviertem Messing und Schildpatt; reich reliefierte Vorderplatine mit römischen Stundenzahlen im Emailkartuschen, Halbstundenschlagwerk mit Repetition (?). Werk rückseitig bezeichnet „Estienne À Paris". 85 x 44 x 23 cm. - Gehfähigkeit nicht überprüft, Werk zu revidieren. - Aufgrund der aktuellen Bestimmungen wird eine Ausfuhrgenehmigung für Objekte aus Elfenbein, Schildpatt oder Rhinozeroshorn in Drittländer nicht erteilt; der Verkauf innerhalb der Europäischen Gemeinschaft ist uneingeschränkt möglich. // Louis XIV pendule — France, 18th c.
