The 24" round barrel is chambered for the .308 Norma cartridge. The barrel is fit with a ramped blade front and 2-leaf (one standing, one folding) rear sights on an island base. Top of barrel marked "PACHMAYR LOS ANGELES" and the left side by receiver has standard Belgian proofs. The receiver of the FN Mauser action is fit with a Pachmayr Lo-Swing scope base and Leupold 2x7 Vari-X II scope. The bolt body and magazine followers are both jeweled. The receiver is decorated with gold wire inlays in geometric patterns and the top of barrel near receiver is decorated in similarly. The floorplate and trigger guard have gold wire inlays with game scene of a Bear engraved in gold on the floorplate with supporting engraved acanthus leaves. Acanthus leaf engraving is also found on the trigger guard. The 5-panel bolt handle knob has a rose engraved. Reddish-brown nicely figured stock features a Monte Carlo comb with cheekpiece, single recoil bolt, basket weave pattern checkering on both the pistol grip and forearm, ebony forend tip with white spacer and solid black rubber Pachmayr recoil pad. Ebony flared grip cap with white line has an inset white dot on bottom. Sling loops are in forend and on toe line. CONDITION: Very good, retaining essentially all its finishes on wood and metal. Handling marks on stock. Bore is excellent. Mechanically crisp.
