Mark Peppé was born in 1934, he studied at the Slade 1957-60, taught painting and etching by William Coldstream, Keith Vaughan and Anthony Gross ;1960-62 employed by Cosmopolitan Artists in The King's Road, Chelsea. First as a visualiser for photo stories, then drawing pencils for strip cartoons, helped by Rip Kirby books. The pencils were then inked in by my boss Enzo Plazzotta later a successful sculptor of ballet subjects. 1962-99 freelance illustrator and painter
