The Indian Empire: its History, Topography, Government, Finance, Commerce, and Staple Products , London: The London Printing and Publishing Company, [1858-1861]. 8 volumes, 4°, 3 engraved titles, 2 double-page maps hand-coloured in outline, 119 engraved plates (one plate with long tear, a few short marginal tears, some mainly marginal spotting and browning), contemporary orange pictorial cloth gilt decorated in blind (extremities rubbed, spines faded), signature of "Eglington, ?Bowms Cottage, 1861" on front free endpapers. With 6 other unrelated works, including James Kelly's A Complete Collection of Scottish Proverbs, explained and made intelligible to the English Reader (London, 1721). (14)
