Adams D669; see STC/ Italian 294. An extensively illustrated edition of Mattioli's commentary on Dioscorides's De Materia Medica, first published by Valgrisi in 1554. As usual, this edition is bound with Mattioli's Apologia adversus Amathum Lusitanum, published by Valgrisi in 1559.
