It restores the original text, which had been substantially censored for the first edition of 1915. In his introduction to the present edition, Mayakovsky writes that he considers this text a 'catechism for contemporary art', and gives his working tiles for each of the previously unnamed parts in his tetraptich: 'Down with your love', 'Down with your art', 'Down with your system', 'Down with your religion'. This copy bears a printed label pasted on the front cover, stating that the edition is uncensored; copies with and without this label are known, with no precedence established.
