Reverse: the inscription "Jews' Commemoration Scholarship Founded to Commemorate the Admission of Jews into Parliament in the Person of Baron L. De Rotschild, July 26th 1858". Baron Lionel de Rothschild was the first Jew who served as a member of the British parliament. To commemorate the commencement of his duty, in 1858, several schools and colleges started programs for granting scholarships to Jewish students. Diameter: 55 mm. Hook for hanging.
