While George enjoyed a quiet but well-known relationship with a mistress, Caroline's own household was notoriously riotous and her promiscuity became a royal embarassment. She did, however, have her supporters, among them Miss Cary. Lot Amendments Condition: Joints and edges rubbed; lettering pieces mostly absent; foxing, still presentable and near very good.
